Russian Formula 1 driver Nikita Mazepin on the EU list of Russian oligarchs. Italy has seized its 100 million euro villa

The seizure order targets Villa Rocky Ram in Porto Cervo, on the Costa Smeralda in northeastern Sardinia, a government official said, according to Reuters

The mansion, worth more than 100 million euros, is owned by a foreign company attributed to Nikita Mazepin, a 23-year-old driver recently fired by the American Formula 1 team Haas, and his father, billionaire Dimitri Mazepin , the owner of the Uralchem fertilizer company.

Dimitri and Nikita Mazepin are among the hundreds of Russian oligarchs and parliamentarians blacklisted by the European Union.

Since the Russian military’s invasion of Ukraine, Italy has blocked hundreds of millions in real estate, including luxury villas and yachts linked to Russian oligarchs.
