Dacia Duster, on the first three places at a rally in Morocco dedicated to women. GPS, banned in VIDEO competition

The competition, which lasted two weeks and took place in the desert of Morocco, was attended by over 150 crews from around the globe.

In the “Crossover” category, Dacia Duster occupied the entire podium, with the crews of Hajar Elbied-Malika Ajaha (Morocco), Marie Dumas and Juliette Crépin, as well as Sabine Bonnet and Isabelle Radenac. The last two crews were from France.

This is the sixth time in a row that Dacia Duster has won the Aïcha des Gazelles Rally, the first edition of which took place in 1990.

The event is open to women between the ages of 18 and 71.

The rally is also unique in that it does not use GPS on the route, with each crew having a printed map and compass to navigate the route. And speed is not a criterion for calculating the final ranking.

Since 2010, the Aïcha des Gazelles Rally in Morocco is the only car competition in the world that has obtained an environmental standard, in this case the ISO 14001 standard.
